sockeye salmon 08/21/2010 Spawning

Comments: I surveyed Wesley Creek on June 28 and used a hand net to sample for coho salmon. Minnow traps supplemented. A total capture was approximately 45-50 coho fry from both minnow traps and hand net. Many more were visually identified. On a return hiking trip I observed spawning sockeye salmon in the lower reach above and below the bridge indicated on the map.
