Location:

Northern Kodiak, east of Kizhuyak Bay, the east fork of Kizhuyak Creek and north of Russian Creek. See area map (Image file 96 kB) for more information.

Land Ownership:

Lands have mixed ownership with Ouzinkie Native Corporation land occupying most of the northern portion of the hunt area. The remainder is land owned by the state of Alaska, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Kodiak Island Borough. www.dnr.alaska.gov/mlw/planning/easmtatlas/kodiak/.

Access:

Walk in access along road system. Popular hunting areas include: Sharatin Mountain, Devils Prongs, Erskine Mountain and Elbow Mountain.
