Streambank Rehabilitation Workshops
Each year, Department staff teaches Habitat Rehabilitation Workshops in selected locations throughout the state. These workshops provide instruction on lake and stream habitat restoration techniques, and related information for rehabilitating riparian habitat and stabilizing stream banks and shorelines. These two-day workshops include one classroom day and one field day that involves construction of a habitat rehabilitation project.

CANCELED: UPDATED APRIL 20, 2020. Due to current COVID-19 mandates in place, including social distancing and not having gatherings larger than 10 people, both the Soldotna and Mat-Su workshop have been canceled for this year. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.
As of right now the 2020 Fairbanks workshop, which tentatively scheduled for early August, has not been canceled. Please check back or email me to see if anything changes with this workshop.
