Meeting on the Proposed Issuance of a Private Nonprofit Hatchery Permit for Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association’s Proposed Port Graham Hatchery

The Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game is holding a public meeting (in accordance with Alaska Statutes 16.10.400-16.10.480) to receive public comment on the issuance of a private nonprofit hatchery permit to Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association, for a proposed Port Graham Hatchery. The hatchery will be located at the former Port Graham Hatchery site in Port Graham, Alaska and will produce pink salmon.

The meeting will be held at the Port Graham Community Center in Port Graham, Alaska on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 11 am to 1:30 pm.

Copies of the Port Graham Hatchery application and Basic Management Plan will be available for inspection at the meeting, or in advance, by contacting Sam Rabung at ADF&G, CF Division/PNP Program.
