Deadline Approaching, Alaska Board of Game Proposals for 2013/2014 Meeting Cycle
(Juneau) – The Alaska Board of Game calls for proposed changes in regulations pertaining to hunting, trapping, and the use of game for the following regions and statewide regulations:
- Arctic Region (Game Management Units 18, 22, 23, and 26A)
- Interior Region (Game Management Units 12, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26B, and 26C)
- Statewide Regulations (Cycle A Schedule)
The proposal deadline is 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, for all proposals.
The public is encouraged to submit proposals online at: www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=gameboard.proposal. Proposals can also be submitted on proposal forms that are available at the Boards Support Section regional offices and online at: http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=gameboard.forms. Proposals not submitted online can be faxed or mailed to:

Proposed regulatory changes must fit within the Call for Proposals for the board’s regulation schedule for 2013/2014. The Call for Proposals and meeting schedule are available on the Board of Game website at: www.boardofgame.adfg.alaska.gov . Proposals received by the deadline will be considered by the Board of Game during the 2013/2014 meeting schedule.
Printed proposal books will be available in August to interested persons.
