Uses

In Alaska, harvest of adults occurs as bycatch during subsistence or personal use fisheries in the fish wheels of the Copper River. There are reports of some people keeping them for unknown reasons but many are released. Outside of Alaska, some tribes catch Pacific lamprey for food, ceremony, and medicine.
