Muskox management on the Seward Peninsula is guided by recommendations from the Seward Peninsula Muskox Cooperators Group, which includes representatives of the region’s villages, staff from state and federal natural resource managers. Management goals include providing for harvest and viewing opportunities, and responding to concerns from the public.
