Reporting Requirements

  • Successful Hunters
    • Report within 2 days of the kill. a) Report online (hunt.alaska.gov) or b)provide ALL hunt details by phone (895-4484) to Delta ADF&G AND RETURN permit report card by mail.
    • Specimens Required: None
  • Unsuccessful Hunters
    Report online(hunt.alaska.gov) or return permit report card in person or by mail to Fairbanks ADF&G by 15 days from close of season.
  • Internet Reporting
    You may report online at http://hunt.alaska.gov

Hunting Conditions

1) WHEN:
Aug. 10 - 27. Unless closed by emergency order.

2) WHERE:
In Unit 20D, south of the Tanana River, east of the east bank of Jarvis Creek, and in Unit 12 west of the Glenn Highway (Tok Cutoff) and south of the
Alaska Highway excluding the Tok River drainage.

3) BAG LIMIT:
One (1) bull caribou.

4) REPORTING:
Successful hunters: Report within 2 days of the kill. a) Complete a permit report online (http://hunt.alaska.gov), or b) provide your name, hunt
number, permit number, and date of kill by phone (895-4484) to Delta Jct. ADF&G and return completed permit report card by mail to Fairbanks
ADF&G. Unsuccessful hunters and those who did not hunt: Report within 15 days of the close of the season. Complete a permit report online
(http://hunt.alaska.gov) or return completed permit report card in person or by mail to Fairbanks ADF&G.

5) REMEMBER:
Much of this hunt area in Unit 20D is in the Delta Controlled Use Area and Macomb Plateau Controlled Use Area which restrict modes of
transportation for hunting. See Alaska Hunting Regulations for details.

6) WHO QUALIFIES:
Alaska residents only.

7) PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO REPORT:
If you fail to report, you will not be eligible to receive any permits (Drawing, Targeted, Tier II, or Registration, including Tier I Nelchina Caribou) during
the next regulatory year. In addition, your name will be turned over to the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for enforcement action.

8) HUNT STATUS INFO: BEFORE HUNTING, call Delta Jct. ADF&G 895-4484. HUNT WILL BE CLOSED WHEN THE HARVEST QUOTA IS REACHED.
