Boat Launch & Campground

This beautiful campground and boat launch is located at the confluence of the Kashwitna and Susitna rivers with views of Mount Denali. This is a popular boating access location for anglers, wildlife viewers, hunters, and campers traveling the Parks Highway between Fairbanks, Denali National Park, and Anchorage.

  • Amenities: 69 Campsites (52 non-electric and 17 electric) for RV or Tent Camping with fire ring & picnic table. Boat Launch & Parking ($20 fee), Day Use Parking ($10 fee), Fish Cleaning Tables, Picnic Shelter, Showers ($5 fee), Vault Latrines and Water (not available to fill RV).

  • Driving Directions: From Willow, head north on the Parks Highway. At MP82.5 turn left on E. Susitna Landing Road. Continuing for approximately 1 mile, the facility is located at the end of the road.

    Little Susitna Public Use Facility
    Boat Launch & Campground

    This peaceful campground and boat launch facility is located on the Little Susitna River within the Susitna Flats State Game Refuge. This is a popular boating access location for anglers, bird and wildlife viewing.

  • Address: 30428 W. Little Susitna River Access Road, Wasilla, Alaska 99654
  • Amenities: 39 non-electric campsites for either RV or Tent Camping with fire ring and picnic table. Boat Launch & Parking ($15 fee), Day Use Parking ($7 fee), Fish Cleaning Table, Fishing Platforms, RV Dump Station ($10 fee), Vault Latrines, and Walking Trails, Water (hand pump). 7 on river remote tent sites accessible by boat only.

  • Driving Directions: From Wasilla head south on Knik Goose Bay Road approximately 17.8 miles. Turn right on Point MacKenzie Road 4.6 miles, turn right on S. Burma Road, Turn left on Ayshire Road, slight right on to Little Susitna River Access Road. The facility is located at the end of the road.
