Meeting Purpose: review and discuss potential changes to board processes that could result in budget savings.
At the request of the Alaska Department of Fish & Game (ADF&G) the Joint Board Committee, comprised of members from each of the Alaska Boards of Fisheries and Game, worked to review and discuss potential changes to board processes that could result in budget savings. The committee met on December 9, 2015, and January 17, 2016. The subcommittee reviewed survey information and public input, and requested each Board of Game and Fisheries review their proposal review process to determine if changes could be made that might provide savings to the boards and the ADF&G.
