Legal Description: K010S033W17
Region: Arctic
Road Name: Kougarok Road

Datum: NAD83
Quad Name / ITM: Nome C-1
AWC Stream #:
Stream Name: Nome River tributary

Elevation:

Site Comments: Mile 11.1. 1.5 miles SE of Banner Creek. Nome River immed d/s of x-ing. Crossing located between two driveways (gravel).

Survey Date: Oct 08, 2005

Survey SEW05-KR39

Project Supervisor: Dave Ryland,
Observers: Dave Ryland, Jason Cheney

Overall Fish Passage Rating: Red

Tidal: No
Backwatered: No

Step Pools: No
Construction Year:

Site Observations:

  1. Culvert is poorly aligned
  2. Sediment accumulation
  3. Outfall height red
  4. Culvert gradient red
  5. Constriction ratio gray

Comments: D/s of culvert is highly disturbed- shallow channel to apparent man-made pond. From pond flows through grass then to Nome River. Grass channel d/s of pond is probably dry (not connected to Nome River) at low water.
