Survey EDS10-NCR05

Observers: Mark Eisenman, Justin Leon

Overall Fish Passage Rating: Red

Tidal: No
Backwatered: No

Step Pools: No
Construction Year:

Site Observations:

  1. Damage associated with ice problems
  2. Road Fill (pushed off road by grader)
  3. Structural Problem
  4. Road bank erosion
  5. Outfall height red
  6. Culvert gradient red

Comments: Road prism and ice damage to pipes have caused a small pond on the u/s side of the road. There is subsurface flow thought the prism. The primary 4 foot pipe has been bent upward and is not allowing much water to flow thought it. Culvert 1 is a small black corrugated plastic pipe with a smooth liner on the inside looks like it was put in when the prism was repaired. There is quite a bit of road fill thoughout the downstream area. U/S is mostly a tundra bog with a deep channel with muddy bottom. Site has been washed out recently and culverts are in pretty bad shape. Multiple overflow pipes through out prism 2 pipes actually passing water. C1 is a black corrugated pipe with a smooth liner inside. C2 is a 4 foot pipe that has been bent up from ice damage and spring flooding with a pipe break about 20 feet from inlet. ***This site has been replaced. This old survey should be used for historical purposes only.***
