Comments: Location: Port Graham Stream: Channel comes down hillside, under the road, and into an open marsh. Substrate is soft muck. Upstream of the 75' location, the stream becomes subterranean. No stream flow (no measurements taken); stagnant water. Low vegetation on streamside. Culvert: No distinct tailcrest or thalweg...gradual elevation increase from the pool to the vegetation mat formed by the marsh. Pipe condition=5. Embedded-No. Note: Two culverts were located in this area and both were within the 400' error in the Port Graham waypoint data. Need to compare data with previous site evaluation to assure it is the same site!
