During the last ten days we received locations for 5 female walruses. One walrus is moving south from the Hanna Shoal Walrus Use Area toward Point Lay and the Alaskan coast while another walrus has left Point Lay and is headed north. One walrus is located north of the 200 m isobath and the Hanna Shoal Walrus Use Area.
